The 1996 Hackensack Comets finished with an undefeated 11-0 record and captured their fifth consecutive North 1 Group IV State Championship. Individual Hall of Famers included (alphabetically), DJ Carter, Patrick Delaney, Eddie Hodge, Jim Nunnermacker, Homoer Plummer and Mike Toal.
